Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenStack, containerization technologies, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift. Additionally, proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management, Ansible for automation and configuration management, and Linux systems administration is required.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions, participating in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible (container-based deployment) and TripleO (bare-metal deployment).
  • Relevant 3–5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2–3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Proficiency in Ceph storage setup and management for block, file, and object storage (S3, Swift, or equivalent).
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments (VLANs, VXLANs, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
