Database Performance Expert

This position is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and availability of Oracle databases.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize database performance through efficient configuration and maintenance.
- Develop and implement robust backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss.
- Effectively manage user access and tablespace allocation to ensure secure and efficient database operations.
- Automate routine database tasks using shell scripting to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
- Monitor and maintain database health, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with a strong focus on performance tuning.
- Proven expertise in managing Oracle databases, including user management and tablespace administration.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery processes, with a focus on disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools to streamline database tasks.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, with a solid understanding of database systems and software applications.
- Oracle certification demonstrating advanced skills and expertise.
- Experience working with cloud-based Oracle databases, including migration and deployment strategies.
