Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in designing mechanical systems and equipment using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities include developing 3D models and detailed engineering drawings, creating part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings, and collaborating with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.

  • Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Create part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate and efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.
  • Perform design checks, tolerance analysis, and ensure manufacturability of components.
  • Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into models and drawings.
  • Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry codes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma/Engineering Graduate in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 3 to 7 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault for mechanical design and documentation.
  • Experience in designing mechanical systems, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.
  • Familiarity with international design standards and codes (ASME, ISO, DIN, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
