Excellence in Procurement Leadership

This role is responsible for procuring IT hardware, software, and related services. The goal is to mitigate risk, develop alternatives, optimize spend, and strategize for speed and cost excellence.
The Procurement Excellence Manager will negotiate contracts, manage the procurement-to-pay cycle, and participate in annual budgets. This includes tracking due dates, renewals, and preparing for negotiations and closure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procurement of IT hardware, software, and related services
- Negotiations, contracting, ordering, delivery, and settlement
- Compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements
- Annual budget participation and due date tracking
- Risk mitigation and alternative development
- Spend optimization and strategy
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in engineering (Computer Engg / IT / Electronics)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Management or MBA in IT Systems preferred
- Minimum 6-10 years experience in a similar role in a large complex organization
You will also require:
- Creative mindset with team spirit and ability to navigate different situations
- Good communication oral/written skills
- Collaborative approach with problem-solving attitude
- Process orientation and strong ethics
- IT/computer savvy with Excel/MS Office skills
This role reports to the Head of Procurement and has one direct reportee.
