Job Title: API Automation Specialist
We are seeking a skilled API Automation Specialist to lead and mentor a team of Quality Engineers. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building Scenarios with BDD frameworks, such as Cucumber or Specflow, and hands-on experience with automation tools like Rest Assured, PostMan, or Karate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage Java for API testing and automation
- Design and build test automation frameworks from scratch, choosing the right tools based on project needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality engineering metrics are defined and reported
- Mentor and lead a team of Quality Engineers
- Develop and maintain SQL skills for data analysis and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of overall experience, with at least 5+ years in Java and Selenium
- Strong background in API automation testing using Rest Assured or similar tools
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Excellent coding skills in Java, JavaScript, Core Java, Typescript, or similar languages
