Job Overview

Nomura Services supports the group's global businesses through various services. With capabilities in trading, research, and financial control, the firm plays a key role in facilitating the group's operations.

The Global Markets Division is based in Mumbai and works on a team extension model to deliver expertise to the business. The team leads the way in techniques and is integral to the business' revenue targets.

The team works with structuring, sales, and trading teams to deliver bespoke solutions to clients' hedging/investment requirements in asset classes such as Foreign Exchange, Rates, Hybrids, Credit, and Equity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement frontend interfaces using modern React practices and component libraries.
  • Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to support business applications.
  • Maintain and support automation infrastructure.
  • Deliver high-quality code within committed deadlines while adhering to best coding practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs development and integration.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including experience with Relational and/or no-SQL Databases.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities with the capacity to learn new technologies quickly.
