Nursing Educator Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Educator to develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Educational Programs: Design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and curricula for nursing staff, including lesson plans and training materials.
  • Conducting Training Sessions: Provide training sessions and workshops on clinical practices and procedures, demonstrating techniques and best practices.
  • Evaluating Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of educational programs and make improvements based on feedback and performance assessments.
  • Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to identify educational needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Mentorship: Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing, with a valid nursing license.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in nursing education or a related field, with some positions requiring acute care experience.
  • Skills: Teaching ability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, leadership, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and communication.
