Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that process and transform large structured datasets for generating accurate analytics at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines using batch or streaming processing techniques.
  • Maintain high-quality data across the pipeline lifecycle, ensuring reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical strategy.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to uphold high standards.
  • Owning smaller components of the data platform or pipelines, taking end-to-end responsibility.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Big Data or data engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in JVM-based languages like Java or Scala.
  • Familiarity with distributed Big Data tools and processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or equivalent.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and services like S3, Glue, BigQuery, or EMR.

Preferred Skills

  • Python programming skills.
  • Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
  • Understanding of file formats like Parquet, Avro, ORC, and JSON.
