Job Opportunity: Program Management Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Program Management professional to lead our project implementation and stakeholder management efforts across states. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, manages multiple stakeholders effectively, and ensures successful project outcomes.

  • Project Leadership:
    • As the primary point of contact, you will make critical project decisions and drive project progress across states.
    • You will manage key stakeholders, including senior officials, funders, partners, and state governments to achieve project objectives.
    • Maintain detailed project timelines, monitor progress, identify risks, and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
    • Develop strategic and short-term project plans, utilizing project management tools to track progress and address escalations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective backend support and internal alignment within initiatives.
    • Analyze data to identify trends across multiple state programs, contributing to organizational learning and growth.
    • Document program activities, monitor data, develop case studies, and compile evidence of outcomes.
    • Review expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system in collaboration with the M&E team.

Educational Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Qualifications:
    • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, while a Master's degree is preferred.
    • 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to managing projects involving senior government functionaries.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in data monitoring and analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and utilize data to inform decision-making.
    • Excellent project management skills, including creating and executing strategic and short-term project plans.
    • Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Abilities:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex organizational landscapes.
    • Capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines, adapt to changing project requirements, and ensure timely deliverables.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices, particularly in the education and non-profit sectors.
