Technical Consultant

As a seasoned and experienced Technical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that support business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Process Extensions (PXs) using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6 to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Customize workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK to enhance application performance.
  • Perform unit testing and functional testing to ensure high-quality results.
  • Support data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems (SAP, Visual, Enovia) to streamline operations.
  • Write technical specifications for customizations and integrations to facilitate clear communication.
  • Provide ongoing support for Agile PLM applications and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Review and maintain Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations to ensure best practices.
  • Create event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation to increase productivity.
  • Customize Agile Web Client UI to improve usability and user experience.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Recompile and redeploy existing PXs during version upgrades to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Ensure smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments to guarantee success.
  • Utilize Agile Import/Export tools, SDK, or direct database staging for bulk data loads or data updates to enhance efficiency.
  • Validate migrated data for completeness and integrity to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze and resolve application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues to minimize risk.
  • Perform log analysis (WebLogic logs, Agile PLM logs) for root cause investigation to identify areas for improvement.
  • Optimize PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time and impact performance.
  • Assist in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments to ensure scalability.
  • Maintain documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Develop Tomcat server applications to expand system capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a Techno-Functional Consultant.
  • Expertise in Java, Agile SDK, and Groovy scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Agile PLM 9.3.6 and its customization options.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
