System Analyst Job Description

This role requires working as a software engineer to deliver leading edge innovations. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing complex software solutions using preferred languages.

  • The individual will be responsible for delivering software solutions for financial and supply chain business partners.
  • Developing key product features and complex software solutions within existing large-scale enterprise applications.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain complex software solutions using preferred programming languages.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an SDLC environment.
  3. Assist with the generation and analysis of business requirements for proposed software solutions.
  4. Participate in architectural and database design discussions.
  5. Complete development tasks independently and under direction from the product architect and development leads.
  6. Maintain and support software solutions post-production.
  7. Work closely with other engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of functional and technical experience with Peoplesoft FSCM applications.
  • Intermediate level functional knowledge of Peoplesoft FSCM applications including Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Project Costing, General Ledger, Maintenance Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management.
  • Proficient technical experience developing solutions in PeopleSoft FSCM systems.
  • Skillset includes but not limited to Restful and SOAP based web Services, Application Packages, Application Engine programs, Peoplecode, online components and pages, SQR programs, SQL in Oracle 12c and higher database versions, PS Queries, Unix and Windows based scripts.
Preferred Requirements
  • 5+ years of functional and technical experience with Peoplesoft FSCM.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Cloud OPS and DevSecOps.
  • Peoplesoft Enterprise Components, Workflow, Data Archiving and Security Administration.
  • Experience programming Oracle database objects, Triggers, Functions, Procedures and Packages.
  • Experience working with SQL Server databases is a plus.
  • DevSecOps training and experience.
