Job Overview

This role involves the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical protocols, tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE):
    • Stop work if there is a risk of injury and report any incidents to management.
    • Report all workplace hazards and near misses.
    • Comply with HSE policies and procedures.
    • Use personal protective equipment as required.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a safe working environment.
    • Identify and correct hazards within your control.
    • Minimize the impact of your work on the environment.
    • Participate in regular HSE training sessions.
  • Quality:
    • Deliver high-quality workmanship and craftsmanship.
    • Contribute to equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
    • Perform tasks according to diagrams, operation manuals, and specifications.
    • Provide feedback to improve the Preventive Maintenance system.
    • Follow quality procedures and raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
    • Conduct quality inspections.
  • Delivery:
    • Be proficient in troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance of equipment.
    • Ensure that all work is conducted in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
    • Coach and instruct others and provide support to team members with less capability.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Perform additional duties as required to meet business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:
    • Work with colleagues and support staff to:
      • Identify and eliminate manufacturing constraints.
      • Plan maintenance activities around production requirements.
      • Solve problems and improve processes.
      • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
    • Teamwork:
      • Communicate effectively with colleagues and support teams.
      • Complete training and development in line with business needs.
      • Contribute actively to local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
