Job Title
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, performance engineering, and monitoring.
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using LoadRunner.
- Conduct various types of performance testing including Load Testing, Stress Testing, Soak/Endurance Testing, and Spike Testing.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to understand performance goals and translate them into test strategies.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Use Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk for root cause analysis and bottleneck identification.
- Drive performance engineering practices by participating in design reviews, early performance testing, and tuning efforts.
- Generate detailed reports on system behavior under load and recommend optimizations.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
- Document all test cases, test results, defect logs, and performance tuning.
About the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in LoadRunner.
- Strong experience with APM tools: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Sound knowledge of Performance Engineering principles.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and provide tuning recommendations.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
Key Skills
- Working knowledge of Java for log analysis and backend validation.
- Good understanding of SQL and ability to query databases for performance validation.
- Experience in API Testing and performance validation.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in Banking or Financial Services (FS) domain is highly preferred.
