Job Description

The purpose of this role is to test data pipelines and data warehouses to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

As a Senior Data Tester, you will be responsible for testing various data loads, measuring throughput and latency, and identifying any issues with the database.

Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of data modeling, including star schema and snowflake schema, as well as experience with scripting languages such as Shell script or Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in data engineering and testing
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience with data reconciliation and quality checks
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud-based tools and technology, including Redshift, Glue, and DBT
  • Ability to develop scripts using Shell script or Python
  • Experience with testing backend databases and gauging stability and reliability
  • Fair understanding of storage, retention, and data archival
