Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to define automation strategies.
  • Create automated test scripts that ensure high-quality products across different modules.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Evaluate new testing tools and technologies to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Work as an individual contributor without management responsibilities.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong expertise in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar for test and defect management.

This role requires candidates to be currently functioning as individual contributors and not in a team lead or managerial capacity.
