Senior Digital Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our digital technology development team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of digital logic circuits on FPGAs using VHDL or Verilog.

  • Design and Implementation: The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, simulating, and implementing digital logic circuits on FPGAs. They should be proficient in VHDL or Verilog and familiar with industry-standard FPGA toolchains (e.g., Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
  • Integration: Strong collaboration skills are required to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems, working closely with hardware and software teams.
  • Testing and Validation: Experience in developing testbenches and performing functional simulations to verify FPGA designs is essential.
  • Toolchain Proficiency: Synthesis, place and route, and timing analysis using industry-standard FPGA toolchains are must-have skills.
  • Debugging and Validation: Debugging and validating FPGA designs on target hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-system debugging tools are crucial.
  • Optimization: Optimizing FPGA designs for performance, power, and resource utilization is a key responsibility.
  • Documentation: Documenting design specifications, development processes, and test procedures is essential for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay Updated: Staying updated with the latest FPGA technologies and best practices is vital for success in this role.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Preferred Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA development and digital design, proficiency in VHDL or Verilog, and familiarity with scripting languages like Tcl or Python are highly desirable.
