Job Title: Retail Project Director

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the delivery of retail interior projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-profile, turnkey retail interior projects, including furniture and fixtures.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring timely delivery and meeting the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee end-to-end project delivery, including design, procurement, installation, and handover.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop, manage, and track project budgets and timelines. Ensure projects are completed within agreed financial and time constraints.
  • Interpret and review technical drawings, layouts, and design plans to ensure alignment with client requirements and feasibility for implementation.
  • Monitor the quality of materials, finishes, and installations, ensuring that all work complies with specifications and meets client expectations.
  • Source and manage suppliers for furniture, fixtures, and fittings. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
  • Identify potential risks during project execution and implement mitigation plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, and issues, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of project management experience, specifically in the retail interior design and fit-out sector.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel for project tracking, budgeting, and reporting. Familiarity with CAD software and ability to understand and review technical drawings and plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Team Leadership: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to manage client expectations, deliver high-quality results, and ensure client satisfaction.
