Supply Chain Head

As a critical supply chain professional, the Supply Chain Head requires expertise in end-to-end supply chain operations for tubular components division. This includes sourcing metal parts, procurement of high lead-time components, and managing global warehouses.

The Supply Chain Head plays a vital role in driving business growth through strategic supply chain leadership, effective warehouse management, and material handling operations.

  • Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to drive business success.
    • Drive sourcing and procurement activities for metal components and high lead-time parts to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency.
    • Monitor and optimize supplier performance, focusing on quality, lead times, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Warehouse Management:
    • Oversee and manage warehouses in the USA and Europe, ensuring optimal space utilization and operational efficiency.
    • Implement effective inventory management practices to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure smooth material flow.
    • Ensure adherence to FIFO principles to minimize obsolescence and waste.
  • Material Handling and Cleanroom Operations:
    • Supervise material handling operations in Cleanrooms, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and cleanroom protocols.
    • Establish procedures to maintain the integrity and cleanliness of materials during storage and movement.
    • Effective identification and traceability of parts to ensure proper accounting.
  • Inventory Control and Accuracy:
    • Develop and implement robust inventory control policies to maintain accuracy and minimize variances.
    • Leverage ERP systems and data analytics to track inventory metrics and forecast needs.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure precise inventory records.
  • Culture and Team Building:
    • Foster a team culture focused on discipline, accuracy, quality, and operational excellence.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor supply chain staff, building a high-performing team.
    • Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
    • Introduce Lean methodologies and best practices for supply chain optimization.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for international trade and cleanroom standards.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, highlighting key metrics and improvement initiatives.
