Product Visualization Specialist

The role requires a creative, detail-obsessed individual to transform raw product data and images into high-quality visuals. This entails editing, retouching, and enhancing product images in various software applications. The ideal candidate will recreate realistic textures, surface finishes, reflections, and accurate colour tones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Editing, retouching, and enhancing product images.
  • Recreating realistic textures, surface finishes, reflections, and accurate colour tones.
  • Building seamless textures/tiles and perspective-correct mockups.
Consistency and Branding:
  • Maintaining a consistent visual identity across categories and campaigns.
  • Following brand guidelines and creating lightweight style guides where needed.
Creative Enhancements:
  • Removing backgrounds, applying shadows, colour correcting, and highlighting material details.
  • Creating lifestyle renders, application mockups, and design variations for storytelling purposes.
Digital Asset Preparation:
  • Resizing, compressing, and exporting digital assets for web use.
  • Utilizing clear naming conventions, version control, and structured folders/DAM hygiene.
Collaboration and Workflow:
  • Partnering with content, catalog, marketing, and engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Sharing creative inputs that improve click-through rates, time-on-page, and conversions.
Quality Control:
  • Calibrating colours against samples; checking edges, tiling, and proportion.
  • Running pre-publish checks for file size, resolution, artefacts, and alignment.
Requirements:
  • 0–2 years of professional experience (strong internships/portfolio welcome).
  • A solid command of Adobe Photoshop, with working knowledge of Illustrator/Lightroom.
  • A strong eye for materials, including gloss/matte, grain, veining, grout lines, bevels, and edges.
  • An understanding of web-ready asset preparation, including DPI vs PX, compression, and aspect ratios.
  • An organised approach, fast iteration capabilities, and comfort handling large batches.
Success Metrics (First 90 Days):
  • Delivering on-brand image packs on time, with less than 1% rework required.
  • Consistent colour accuracy versus samples/brand palette.
  • Meeting throughput targets without compromising quality.
  • Creating reusable mockup frameworks/templates for at least two categories.
