Compliance Manager for Sustainable Practices

We are proud to be part of Li & Fung, a global leader in supply chain management. As a Compliance Manager for Sustainable Practices, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vendors and factories adhere to social and environmental standards.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time permanent position based in Tirupur/Bangalore, requiring up to 10 years of relevant experience in textile, supply chain, apparel, or trading industries.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular audits of suppliers and factories to ensure compliance with local laws and international standards.
- Communicate with the customer's compliance team on factory compliance matters.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs for social and environmental compliance.
- Monitor supplier and factory compliance records and investigate incidents of non-compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social and environmental considerations into all aspects of the business.
- Degree Holder in any discipline.
- Experience in policy implementation, survey benchmarking, and analysis, as well as vendor compliance in buying/trading offices or manufacturing industries.
- Expertise in auditing transport services and knowledge of transport guidelines.
- Able to work under pressure, result-oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with the team and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Hindi.
- Project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor ESG initiatives and deliverables.
As a Compliance Manager for Sustainable Practices, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vendors and factories adhere to social and environmental standards. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
