Are you a highly skilled software engineer looking for a new challenge?

Our team is seeking a Senior Lead Development Engineer to join our technology department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python application development, experience with cloud services such as AWS, and expertise in related libraries including Pandas, Numpy, and Pydantic.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing Python applications deployed to AWS cloud services, working closely with stakeholders and technical architects to formalize/document requirements, and performing application and system performance tuning.

Additionally, you will be expected to take ownership of code modules, lead code review processes, supervise and mentor less experienced team members, and define and refine task definitions.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of IT experience in application development and support
  • Expertise in modern Python 3.10 and late (minimum 5 years dedicated Python experience)
  • Experience with developing, troubleshooting distributable Python libraries
  • Backend services development including distributed libraries and packages in Python
  • Experience with AWS and cloud services including SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL
  • Strong Work Ethic, Communication and Thoughtfulness
