Electrical Design Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Expert to lead our team in delivering high-quality engineering solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading or executing assignments including proposal development, cost estimates, and detailed drawings for EHV projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver proposals, scope statements, conceptual designs, and execution plans.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings for EHV projects, protection and control design, panel arrangements, and relay panel wiring diagrams.
  • Prepare calculations and reports for engineering studies, equipment specifications, and procurement documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, review designs, and participate in virtual meetings.
  • Produce comprehensive electrical substation design packages compliant with client technical standards or IES/IEEE/NESC.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and quality reviews to junior team members, develop and improve processes, and undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three years of experience and maximum ten years in Substation design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of NESC, IEEE standards, and US, Canada, and UK projects.
  • Membership of a relevant professional Engineering Institution (e.g., IET, CIGRE, IEC, IEEE etc.).
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
