We are seeking an expert in analog and mixed-signal design to join our team.

Job Description
  • Circuit architectures and designs should be developed with a focus on precision timing solutions.
  • Analytical thinking is required to balance technology, architecture, circuit design, and parametric design trade-offs to meet demanding technical performance specifications.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with industry leading EDA tools for transistor-level design and simulation.
  • A comprehensive understanding of design reviews and the ability to lead them is essential.
  • Supervising Analog Circuit Physical Design Layout and editing layouts are critical skills.
  • Effective collaboration with Digital Design Engineers, CAD, Systems Engineering, Test Engineering, and Applications teams is necessary to ensure DFT, DFM features and achieve rapid silicon bring-up and time to production release.
  • Post-layout parasitic-extraction and back-annotated simulations must be performed to validate design.
  • Monte Carlo Analysis on key circuits is required to ensure Six-Sigma quality and yields.
  • Participation in the bring-up of silicon prototypes is also expected.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • M.S or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or M.Tech/M.S with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • A proven track record of taking at least one analog-mixed signal part to high-volume production.
  • A strong background in circuit architecture development, technical feasibility studies, detailed block-level specifications, detailed design and simulation of oscillators, ADCs, DACs, temperature sensors, integer and fractional-N PLLs, digital PLLs, low-noise op-amps, regulators, bandgap circuits in CMOS.
  • Proficiency with EDA tools including Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, Mixed-mode AMS tools, Layout XL.
  • An extensive knowledge of layout effects for circuit and layout design, as well as supervising layout designers.
  • Experience with post-layout extraction and verifications.
  • Validation, characterization, qualification, and adherence to production release criteria are also essential.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
