Make a Meaningful Impact as a UX Design Intern

This is an opportunity to create products that touch the hearts and lives of people across India's diverse geographies and cultures.

About the Role:

You will assist in piloting our app and future products, currently focused on private security guards in the Private Security Industry, and then move beyond it. This includes getting hands-on with participatory design methods and quick user-research, feedback, and insights in the field, starting with the Delhi NCR region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Thinking: Assist in brainstorming and design thinking sprints.
  • Research: Support in field studies, usability testing, user interviews, and documentation of insights.
  • UI + Visuals: Contribute to wireframes, UI screens, icons, and prototypes in Figma.
  • Prototyping: Support in creating low-to-mid fidelity prototypes; learn to refine interactions and transitions.
  • Testing & Iteration: Observe and conduct basic usability tests, prepare feedback reports, and iterate on designs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, developers, and outreach team in turning insights into features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. A graduate degree in Design or any field with industry-recognized certification in UX design and a strong portfolio.
  2. 0 to 2 years of experience in UX Design.
  3. Proficient in design software: Figma, Miro.
  4. Familiarity with slide-presentation, video-editing, word processing, spreadsheets, and tinkering with newer AI tools.
  5. Good communication skills in English and Hindi (bonus if you know more regional languages).
  6. Openness to fieldwork and talking to real users.
