Senior SAP SD Consultant Job Description

As a Senior SAP SD Consultant, you will play a key role in designing and implementing effective SAP functional solutions to meet business needs. This position requires expertise in applying subject matter knowledge to identify opportunities for improvement, develop techniques to increase productivity and efficiency, and mitigate risks.

The successful candidate will have experience working with SAP ECC, specifically in the Sales and Distribution (SD) module, as well as familiarity with Integration with MM/LE and FI. Additionally, they should be able to map business requirements to configuration in the system.

Responsibilities include organizing and leading workshops to gather and validate business requirements, configuring and testing systems, and providing training and support to end-users. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and strong analytical skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10 to 12 years of Functional Configuration experience in SD required in SAP ECC.
  • SAP configuration skills within specific SAP modules or applications - SD and LE (Shipping).
  • Knowledge of Integration with MM/LE and FI.
  • Experience in multiple SAP implementations preferred (at least 2 successful, full life cycle implementations required).
  • Basic understanding of ABAP programming, IDOCs, Enhancements, Interfaces, and User Exits.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
