Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Transformation Leader to drive strategic initiatives across sanctions, AML, financial crime risk, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in building robust compliance frameworks, leading digital transformation, and managing global stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Compliance Training & Awareness
  • Enhance Global Compliance Training Programs: Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that go beyond standard modules, focusing on emerging risks and best practices.
  • Identify Additional Training Areas: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop targeted programs aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure training relevance, effectiveness, and seamless integration into operational processes.
  1. Sanctions Advisory
  • Expert Guidance on Sanctions Regulations: Provide authoritative guidance on sanctions regulations across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
  • Monitor Regulatory Developments: Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory changes and translate them into actionable advisories for the business.
  • Support Business Units: Offer practical insights on sanctions-related risks, helping business units make informed decisions.
  1. Policies & SOPs
  • Draft, Review, and Update Policies: Develop, review, and update policies, SOPs, and frameworks to align with evolving regulations and industry standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to embed compliance into operational processes, ensuring effective implementation and communication of compliance policies.
  • Effective Communication: Ensure that compliance policies are communicated effectively to all stakeholders, promoting a culture of compliance.
  1. Risk & Transformation
  • Lead Digital Transformation Initiatives: Drive process re-engineering, automation, and change management to strengthen compliance effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver High-Quality Reports: Present high-quality reports and presentations to senior leadership, showcasing compliance achievements and recommendations for improvement.

Preferred Profile:

  • 14–15 years of progressive experience in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory advisory.
  • Background in consulting firms, multinational corporates, or regulatory advisory roles.
  • Experience in policy development, compliance training, and sanctions/AML advisory.
  • Strong leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
