Chief Data Strategist

Job Description:

As Chief Data Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in driving our organization's data-driven decision-making initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in data science and information management to inform business strategy and drive growth.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive global data approach that aligns with the organization's objectives. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure conformity to the firm-wide data agenda, influencing senior leaders through data intelligence, and leading a cross-functional team responsible for data, reporting, insights, and analysis.

Additionally, you will work closely with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to align data strategy, set governance standards on data sourcing and use, and implement data management tools and technologies to support data strategy and governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of experience in data science, information management in a corporate environment
  • Strategic / transformative thinking and planning
  • Knowledge / experience with business & artificial intelligence, data analytics & reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Project management experience
  • Relationship building
