Job Title: Senior Coffee Professional

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior coffee professional. The role involves overseeing the procurement and quality assurance of green coffee beans at the origin level.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate coffee beans before purchase at coffee farms and curing works across Karnataka.
  • Perform quality checks from farm collection to curing and sorting.
  • Cup and evaluate samples to ensure consistency with export specifications.
  • Prepare traceability and quality reports for each lot procured.
  • Coordinate procurement activities once contracts with suppliers are finalized.
  • Manage logistics from farm to curing works and up to export stage (sampling, weighment, warehousing).
  • Maintain strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and curing units.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in coffee (procurement, quality control, cupping, or farm-level operations).
  • Strong knowledge of green coffee beans, grading, curing processes, and cup quality analysis.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation for traceability and compliance.
  • Familiarity with export-related logistics and processes is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Kannada (mandatory); basic English for reporting and supplier/buyer coordination.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka's coffee-growing regions.
