Legal Operations Manager Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Legal Operations Manager to provide expert legal and compliance support across our diverse businesses and manufacturing units. This role involves handling litigation, contract management, statutory compliance, land-related matters, and liaising with external stakeholders and authorities.

  • Secure and maintain statutory licenses, approvals, and permissions for factories and new projects by effectively communicating with regulatory bodies.
  • Negotiate with government departments to secure subsidies and incentives from the Central and State Governments.
  • Develop, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, notices, and replies to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Manage complex litigation matters including civil, criminal, arbitration, and recovery cases through close coordination with external counsels and government departments.
  • Provide day-to-day support to the business by maintaining open communication channels with external counsels, courts, and government departments.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across factories, including factory audits and inspections, to minimize risks and optimize performance.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records and repositories of contracts, licenses, and legal documents, with timely renewal reminders.
  • Support land-related matters including acquisition, leasing, monetization, and updating land records to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Offer assistance in brand protection and security to safeguard our organization's reputation.
  • Collaborate with business and finance teams to track recoveries and manage legal claims efficiently.
  • Travel to factories, project sites, and markets as required to handle legal and compliance-related tasks.
