Job Summary:

This Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer, and control systems.

The ideal candidate will review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers) and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Develop and implement preventive, predictive, condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.

Requirements:

Instrumentation and Electrical maintenance and inspection skills are essential for this role. Field instrumentation preventive and predictive maintenance techniques are also required.
