Lead Auditor and Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Auditor and Supervisor to join our team of accounting professionals. As an Associate Manager in our office, you will work alongside talented individuals from the US and India.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements from planning to completion, including supervising staff and building relationships with clients. Your exceptional analytical and technical skills will enable you to identify areas for improvement and provide expert advice to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audits, reviews, or compilations to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of audit engagements, including staffing, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Supervise engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, promoting open communication to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with engagement partners on client issue resolution and recommend solutions for legal, regulatory, or accounting issues.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Create and track engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies and optimize performance.
  • Conduct constructive evaluations and provide guidance to team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and excellent auditing skills.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with ability to develop and maintain outstanding relationships.
  • Ability to manage competing projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
