Chief Financial Strategist

This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and management of a manufacturing organization. As a Finance Manager, you will be expected to provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and ensure that the company's financial goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to support business growth and strategy.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Cost Control: Analyze and manage costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels and control receipts and physical verification.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Accounting and Auditing: Validate, approve, review, and manage the collection and payment of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Handle inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements, Reconciliation with headquarters and subsidiaries.
• Cost Accounting: Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems and processes.
• Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvements: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Manufacturing Overhead Costs: Monitor and control manufacturing overhead costs, ensuring accurate allocation to products and processes.
• Collaboration with Production and Operations Teams: Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand financial implications of manufacturing activities.
• Financial Insights and Recommendations: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making.
• Job Order Costing and Process Costing Techniques: Utilize job order costing and process costing techniques to ensure accurate product costing.
• Point of Contact for External Auditors: Act as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Audit Activities: Coordinate audit activities across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
• Addressing Audit Queries: Address audit queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate records of all cash transactions.
• International Payments: Set up and process international payments to foreign vendors.
• Maintenance of Documentation and Relationships: Maintain documentation and relationships with banking institutions.
• Compliance and Governance: Liaise with external Auditor and ROC consultants to ensure the timely completion of Statutory Audit, and ROC filings under the Companies Act and Income Tax Act.
• Fixed Asset Register (FAR): Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register (FAR); verify capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
• Support in Drafting Financial Statements: Support in drafting and finalising financial statements and ensure timely submission to auditors and the Group CFO.
• Overseeing GST Compliance and Financial Operations: Oversee GST compliance and financial operations
• Compliance with TDS, Tax Laws & ROC: Comply with TDS, tax laws & ROC as per act.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CA, CA Inter, MBA) preferred.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role with exposure to headquarter reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, and cross-border compliance requirements.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel; experience with Oracle Netsuite ERP software is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
