Job Description

As a specialist in cell culture, you will play a pivotal role in advancing upstream process development and scale-up for monoclonal antibody manufacturing. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and establishing robust processes to meet desired product yield and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support upstream process development and scale-up for mAb manufacturing
  • Develop and establish scalable and robust processes for meeting desired product yield and quality standards
  • Assess risk and proactively plan for risk mitigation strategies during process development and scale-up
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within R&D and other departments for technical discussions related to process development, technology transfer, and process improvement
  • Participate in technology transfer activities and coordinate with program management and cross-functional teams to deliver on program timelines
  • Ensure thorough data analysis for assessing upstream data and supporting technical decisions
  • Record and review raw data in accordance with GDP principles and prepare work presentations, write technical documents, and procedures as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess technical expertise in one of the following areas in addition to the above:

  • Omics technologies – Metabolomics, Metabolic Flux Analysis
  • Bioprocess modeling – Metabolic modeling, process modeling, digital twin for bioreactor or cells
  • CFD – Computational fluid dynamics to better understand and simulate bioreactor mixing
