  • Design and implement mobile architectures that scale seamlessly, meeting the demands of our growing user base.
  • Lead a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with product managers to define product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to drive technical decisions, ensuring the adoption of modern development practices.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing mobile architectures, with a strong focus on scalability and performance.
  • A proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving technical excellence, and promoting a culture of innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with React Native and experience with payment or mobile banking solutions is a plus.

  • React Native for cross-platform mobile development.
  • A modern GraphQL-based API, which drives an optimized frontend datastore capability.
  • Extensive application monitoring tools, such as Sentry, Datadog, Segment.
  • A backend built on a serverless, event-driven system architecture running on AWS.
  • A rigorous approach to continuous integration and system correctness, including infrastructure as code (CDK, Terraform) and high coverage of unit, integration, and system tests built with GitHub Actions.
