As a vital member of our finance team, you will be responsible for coordinating statutory audits with external professionals, overseeing month-end closure procedures, preparing consolidated financial statements, managing tax compliance, maintaining a compliance calendar, monitoring regulatory changes, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Responsibilities
  • Statutory Audits: Lead statutory audits across all entities, ensuring timely completion and minimal audit observations. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audit and compliance processes.
  • Month-End Closure: Oversee month-end closing procedures for all entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Coordinate reconciliation activities, including bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and inter-company account reconciliations.
  • Consolidated Financial Statements: Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements for different regions in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Coordinate consolidation procedures including elimination of inter-company transactions and balances.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and review corporate filings, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns. Coordinate with external tax consultants for US, UK, and UAE filings.
  • Compliance Calendar: Monitor statutory filing deadlines across all regions and ensure timely completion of annual returns, board meeting compliances, and regulatory submissions with the consultant.
  • Regulatory Changes: Stay updated with changes in tax and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions and communicate the impact to the finance team.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in audit, tax, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience managing month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
  • Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and understanding of consolidation procedures.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and basic knowledge of international tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with SaaS accounting principles, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue management.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for multiple jurisdictions, preferably including the US, UK, or UAE.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel/Google spreadsheet, accounting software (preferably Zoho Books), and coordination with external consultants.
