Job Title: Costing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cost analyst to fill this role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling financial transactions, inventory management, and production-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile inventory inflow and outflow through accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
  • Review work-in-progress (WIP) clearing to ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Investigate any inconsistencies in the WIP general ledger.
  • Respond to inquiries from production and inventory teams.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Implement inventory corrections such as map changes and stock creation.
  • Ensure system records accurately reflect physical inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular reconciliation of system-generated inventory reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience post qualification in cost accounting or financial analysis.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) fully qualified.
  • Prior experience of working in a startup environment would be an added advantage.
