Job Title: Senior Risk Management Specialist

  • Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned risk management professional to join our team as a Senior Risk Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential risks across various business operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare detailed financial models with accurate information gathered from internal resources, external data sources, and market intelligence
    • Develop comprehensive credit notes outlining transaction structures, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies
    • Collaborate with collections, sales, and other teams to track delinquencies and identify areas for improvement
    • Engage with customers to understand market trends and industry developments
    • Pre-approve and rate clients with significant exposure, ensuring thorough risk evaluation
    • Design and deliver training sessions on product policies and processes for sales staff, channel partners, and field sales teams
    • Monitor post-disbursement documents, including invoices, insurance, and RCs, to ensure compliance and quality
    • Manage portfolios to meet documentation, delinquency, and quality standards
    • Identify and assess transactional, business, and financial risks associated with borrowers and industries
    • Submit mitigation plans to address identified risks
    • Perform in-depth financial analysis, focusing on major P&L and Balance Sheet movements
    • Develop and present detailed credit notes highlighting transaction structures, risk views, and mitigation strategies
    • Conduct thorough financial appraisals of businesses, covering working capital cycles, profitability, and other key aspects
    • Develop market intelligence through engagement with peers in other banks and FIs, analyzing their policies, focus areas, and portfolio health
    • Identify opportunities for process automation and new product development
    • Ensure high-quality credit underwriting practices
    • Raise early warning signals for stress accounts and implement timely exit strategies
    • Maintain minimal audit queries, resolving any issues within prescribed timelines
    • Leverage market knowledge to inform CE/ CV market practices
    • Active involvement in customer visits
    • Regular MIS reports on market intelligence

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in risk management, credit analysis, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk assessment
  • Strong understanding of market trends and industry developments
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
