Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional units to identify, assess, measure, monitor, and report risks.
  • Establishing and reviewing our Risk and Control Self-Assessment Framework (RCSA) across the organization.
  • Engaging with internal auditors on driving risk-based supervision and delegation of powers.
  • Reviewing and approving changes in operational processes from a risk standpoint.
  • Conducting control testing/thematic reviews to assess the effectiveness of process design and the control environment.
  • Preparing and presenting heat maps for risk areas and operational risk dashboards.
  • Assessing non-credit financial risks such as Treasury, ALM, etc.
  • Maintaining monthly governance with stakeholders on open risk points and action plans.
  • Designing and implementing Business Continuity Management (BCM) across the organization.
  • Deploying security tools in collaboration with the Technology team to prevent data leakage.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • An MBA or CA qualification.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the BFSI space.
  • A good understanding of loan product workings, loan system workings, and calculations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
