Remote SAP Basis Consultant Opportunity

This is a remote opportunity where you will work as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for customers on the S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition topic and its offerings.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Presents detailed service offerings and value proposition to customers on RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Supports and organizes technical responses to RFP/RFi queries.
  • Blueprints customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.
  • Works with sales teams to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support.
  • Owns technical discussions with customers on Private Cloud Edition topics and acts as orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required.
Requirements:
  • Requires proficiency in customer communications and presentations.
  • Must have a Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration from an accredited university.
  • Has good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.).
  • Has good understanding of entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.).
  • Has good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
  • Has good understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • Is an English native speaker; any other language is an asset.
Experience:
  • Requires 7-12 years hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting/Presales experience (e.g., Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, etc.).
  • Experience with hosting providers and data centers is a significant advantage; HANA/Suite on HANA skills would be very helpful but not mandatory.
  • Experience working for an enterprise software/services vendor is necessary.
