Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and documenting comprehensive test plans for products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test plans for products
  • Coordinate and participate in system level testing activities including estimation, strategy, test planning, execution, and reporting
  • Perform setup of test scenarios, both hardware and software components, and perform troubleshooting as needed
  • Create testing tools and scripts as needed to support system level testing activities
  • Provide training and support as required
  • Lead small to mid-size projects and mentor junior staff
  • Have good interaction with customers

Requirements:

  • Understanding of lab infrastructure and maintenance
  • Network/telecom/satcom testing experience
  • Automation with Python
  • Test equipment & tools like Spirent, IXIA, Wireshark, ethereal, Noise emulator, iperf, pytest/robot framework
  • Telecom knowledge on NMS/EMS/OSS
  • Understanding of OSI Model, L3/L4 layer, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP
