About the Role

As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of standardized accounting policies and procedures across all business units with strong internal controls.

  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks with process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Oversee financial close processes ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of financial reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for streamlined financial operations with technical accounting guidance.
  • Lead initiatives for process improvement, automation, and use of technology in accounting operations.
  • Provide training to regional and local teams on technical accounting and external audit processes.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to financial operations and controls.

  • Prepare IPO level processes for the company.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CA or MBA Finance from Tier 1 or 2 College
  • 5-8 years of experience in controllership, accounting, or audit with IFRS, US GAAP knowledge.
  • Experience in setting up or operating a Marketplace business in e-commerce environment with startups expertise.
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement and standardization initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and manage multiple priorities with startups experience.
