Job Title: Database Specialist

Location: Major City

Experience Required: 4+ Years of Professional Experience

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain database stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and cursors.
  • Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, sub-queries, and merge operations.
  • Perform data analysis, query tuning, and indexing for performance optimization in a relational database system.
  • Automate and manage data loads using scripted methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions align with business objectives.
  • Work on shell scripting and Linux-based automation for database-related tasks.
  • Ensure best practices for database performance, security, and reliability.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • Primary Skills: Database development, strong DB knowledge.
  • Secondary Skills: Shell scripting and Linux.
  • Hands-on development experience in stored procedures, triggers, cursors, functions, and packages.
  • Strong understanding of SQL query design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with relational databases, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to data load automation tools.
