Data Management Specialist Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to drive data ownership and governance practices across complex landscapes. As a Data Management Specialist, you will champion the creation of value-driven data solutions that move business outcomes forward.

The role involves driving adoption, building frameworks, and creating value-driven data solutions that move business outcomes forward. Our ideal candidate has mandatory expertise in MDM & RDM, hands-on experience with metadata management and data governance practices, and prior use of Informatica governance toolset (AXON, EDC, IDMC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive data ownership and governance practices across complex landscapes
  • Create value-driven data solutions that move business outcomes forward
  • Develop and implement data management frameworks
  • Analyze and optimize data governance processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • MDM & RDM expertise
  • Metadata management and data governance practices experience
  • Prior use of Informatica governance toolset (AXON, EDC, IDMC)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Exposure to Agile project delivery in a data context
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Cognos, MicroStrategy, etc.) and KPI frameworks
  • Solid understanding of SQL and at least one programming language (Python, C, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
