At Goldman Sachs, we are committed to helping our clients achieve their financial goals. As a Financial Transactions Analyst, you will play a critical role in facilitating transactions and ensuring that they are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to deal execution, closing, and project management.
  • Perform primary liaison responsibilities between counterparties, trading desks, internal teams, and third-party vendors/partners.
  • Lead workstreams internally related to transaction closing, including KYC, trade booking, posting/approval management from key teams, and vendor onboarding.
  • Collect, archive, and update scope of work/quotes database showing relevant due diligence scopes as executed on previous trades; engage/monitor third-party vendor partners.
  • Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensure accurate and timely invoicing and its processing.
  • Liaise with legal counsel on NDAs, engagement letters, PoAs, syndication letters, and all other legal documents.
  • Review, understand, and act on deal-level documents.
  • Assist with securitizations AUPs, strat tie-out, applicable checklists, and deal expenses.
  • Support growth of non-financial DDs workstreams such as valuations, consumer DD, and legal DD.
  • May assist with performing due diligence on prospective new sellers/counterparties/loan servicers/on-boarding third-party vendor partners; maintain KPIs on third-party vendor partners.
  • Actively participate in system/technology-related projects, assisting the IT/System Administration team with design, analysis, testing, and implementation aspects of enhancements made to the Due Diligence System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience handling due diligence activities for deals in private equity capital calls, NAV financing, and securitization.
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills with a keen eye toward attention to detail; ability to handle high-stress, fast-paced environments, and aggressive deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret legal and compliance-related materials.
  • Independent thinker who will be proactive, vocal, and professional in dealings with internal/external clients, third-party vendor partners, internal teams, and senior managers.
  • Outstanding initiative and excellent communication/presentation skills (both verbal and written).
  • Advanced proficiencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Capable of recommending modifications to existing policies/procedures to control risk and improve performance/efficiencies.
  • Must have ability to travel and work extended hours (and occasional weekends) as needed.

Salary Range:$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
