Network Infrastructure Leadership Opportunity

The Network Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure to ensure continuous and secure data flow between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

This position demands high technical expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting, along with strong vendor management and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Deploy, and Maintain Network Infrastructure: Ensure high availability, low latency, redundancy, and security of network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Align network infrastructure with operational needs, leveraging production and IT teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Implement Network Solutions: Install and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points for optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot Network Performance: Minimize downtime through proactive monitoring and efficient troubleshooting.
  • Plan and Execute Network Upgrades: Lead network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives with security features and future-ready wireless infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure Network Scalability: Support future production needs and business growth through scalable network architecture.
  • Implement Network Security Policies: Enforce network security policies and controls aligned with organizational policies.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Foster strong relationships with network vendors and external partners for timely delivery, implementation, and support.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Designing and Managing Large-Scale Production Network Deployment: Experience in designing and managing large-scale production networks.
  • Strong Knowledge of Network Security Practices and Protocols: Understanding of network security practices and protocols.
  • Experience in Implementing OT/IT Network Integration: Expertise in implementing OT/IT network integration and managing wired and wireless network infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting Network Issues: Ability to troubleshoot network issues in a time-sensitive production environment.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Strong ability to manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
  • Communication and Project Management Skills: Effective communication and project management skills for collaborative work with internal teams and external partners.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments.
