Job Title

As a storage administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our file serving / NAS infrastructure.

  • Design and implement NetApp storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
  • Adding disk shelf to the existing storage for standalone and High availability controllers.
  • Extensive experience in configuring and managing DR replications via snapmirror.
  • Extensive experience in managing vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Providing operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure within the organization, planning and implementing data migrations (typically using either Robocopy).
  • Experience using an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details.
  • Handling Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues.
  • Checking Storage Critical Events

Excellent technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches are required. Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc) is also necessary.

Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience on NetApp, Hitachi.
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of CMODE and CDOT & fabric switches.
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI etc)
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS, NFS technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise process mapping tools and techniques, as well as industry good practice frameworks like ITIL, Agile.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in this field and excellent knowledge of enterprise process mapping tools and techniques.
