Storage Solutions Architect

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services.
- Design, implement, and maintain distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus
- Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
- Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
- Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
- Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
- Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
In addition to the requirements above, it would be great if you have:
- Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
- Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.
