Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Production Lead with expertise in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in engineering processes, aircraft systems, and technical documentation.

A key aspect of this role is to develop, update, and optimize manufacturing & assembly processes for aircraft structures, systems, and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Development: Develop, update, and optimize manufacturing & assembly processes for aircraft structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Routing Sheets & SOIs: Create & maintain routing sheets and Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs) in compliance with Airbus standards.
  • Tech Documentation: Interpret and work with technical drawings and 3D models to support production activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to standards and documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Aircraft Systems Knowledge: Experience in aviation & aerospace industry, strong understanding of aircraft systems & structures.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Expertise in manufacturing & assembly processes (structures, equipment, systems).
  • Skill Proficiencies: Skilled in routing & SOI creation/updates, proficient in technical drawings & 3D models.
  • Standard Compliance: Knowledge of Airbus standards, working knowledge of SAP (manufacturing & logistics).
  • Languages: Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with professional proficiency in English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Project Management: Project Management experience.
  • Familiarity with Final Assembly Line Environment: Familiarity with Final Assembly Line (FAL) environment.
  • AR, IC & S03 Processes: Experience with AR, IC & S03 experience processes.
  • MS Office Proficiency: MS Office proficiency.
