Market Research Analyst Job Description

Analyze and research emerging markets to identify new product opportunities, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of secondary market data across therapies in small molecules
  • Preliminary IP assessments of products regarding patents worldwide
  • Develop business cases for proposed products in portfolio selection meetings
  • Monitor market updates, competitor analysis, and identify entry channels through in-licensing and other opportunities

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape in global markets
  • Pharmaceutical regulatory knowledge of major markets
  • Formulation selection process understanding, including medical uniqueness and commercial forecasting
  • Forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategy knowledge
  • Proficiency in data platforms such as IQVIA, Corelli's, and IPD analytics
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

A degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Business Administration from a reputable institution (Preferred)

3-5 years of experience in Market Research, Portfolio Strategy, and/or Intellectual Property Management roles
