About the Position:
Apptimized is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to support enterprise data initiatives from offshore. This role combines hands-on data engineering and ETL development with business intelligence and power BI reporting delivery, ensuring timely and accurate insights for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Design, develop, and publish Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and self-service datasets that enable better decision-making.
- Implement data models tailored for reporting, adhering to governance, security, and performance best practices.
- Create reusable DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and semantic layers that streamline reporting workflows.
- Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and report automation, driving informed business decisions.
Business Intelligence Development
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into data warehouses and marts, ensuring high-quality data consistency and performance.
- Collaborate with onsite data architects and engineers to ensure seamless integration of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into reporting environments.
- Build optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting and analytics needs, driving business growth.
Requirements:
- 6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering & Business Intelligence.
- Strong hands-on skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service).
- Proficiency in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS (ETL development).
- Knowledge of data modeling principles (dimensional, normalized, denormalized).
